Alright, this is gonna be a short one. I'm still working with this email thing and sharing my feelings and thoughts. But for now, this is what I have going on.

We have three baptisms this Friday for our little homies in Mimbres. The Palomarez boys are awesome and they are so excited for baptism! I'll make sure to send pictures of that next week.

I got a ton of spider bites all over, don't know how. I won't send pictures of that haha. Other than digging a ton of holes and moving dirt at the horse rescue ranch, it's just been a normal week.

That's all I got. Sorry, more next week for sure.

Conference Weekend

I can't believe it, but another week has gone by, and I don't know where the time has gone!  This week has been extremely busy and we lost some time traveling to the mission office. Elder VanSweden and I had to go to a trainer training meeting so we did a LOT of driving. We got back to Silver City late Tuesday night, extremely tired.

We are in the middle of the mid-transfer hump, and because of district and training meetings and transferring missionaries we don't have much to report on. Just tracking, walking and teaching.  But the upcoming few weeks we are going to WORK OUR BEHINDS OFF!

The highlight of this week (besides conference) was going to the National Monument Gila Cliff Dwellings. The park was created to protect Mogollon cliff dwellings in the Gila Wilderness near the Gila River in southwest New Mexico.  I'll attach some photos, but they don't do it justice. They were beautiful, exotic, and overall amazing!

During conference I received a lot of insight and revelation about myself. During Jeffrey R Holland's Talk, he quoted saying "my love is richer than my tongue". I really related to this saying.  I also try to show my love through acts, because many times my words can't describe the love I have. Whether I show my love by giving a smile, leaving a gift on a doorstep, saying encouraging words, or whatever, I do so because I can't express myself with words. I've realized that I have always felt love, and had a lot of love for others. I used to think that it was difficult for myself to feel love or understand it, but that's because I have always had it. It's sorta like breathing; you don't realized your doing it, and I never realized I felt love as much as I have. There are some people I haven't shown love to when I should have. But still, I love ya' all!

If you have any desire to email me, I'll be waiting... haha.
Hopefully I'll have some cool spiritual experiences to share next time, but until I do.... peace off

Love, Elder West
